Streamline Technology has its origins in the financial industry as the technology department of a Quantitative Global Fixed Income Investment Manager. One lasting legacy of our work in this arena was the development of a financial technology platform that encompassed the entire lifecycle of the investment managers business. In meeting the demands of the original company for an integrated financial technology platform we developed various technologies that collectively allowed the back and front office processes of the business to meet early straight through processing requirements of the market while internally meeting the intense data requirements of the portfolio rebalancing and portfolio analytics systems.

Early on our systems were written in UNIX-“C” and CRAY-“C” using Oracle as the repository. We solved unique problems such as valuation of global securities with distributed computing technology and solved server load problems using offline databases with inverted file technology. The base team at Streamline Technology worked to engineer these tasks and this experience is the basis for our approach to problem solving today.

Today Streamline Technology is a 100% employee owned business and a progressive enterprise application development firm offering web-enabled business solutions with powerful scalability and performance within the reach of small to mid-sized companies. Streamline continues to develop and refine our service offerings across a wide spectrum of businesses ranging from private equity firms to pharmaceutical manufacturers. We are well versed in the full software life cycle and management of enterprise hardware and software systems and server applications from Microsoft and Oracle. Additionally we have significant experience developing enterprise software applications using in-house developed class UI component builders that allow us to generate code well beyond the software stub and into fully functional classes.
